Fingal ECO Week

Fingal ECO week is the 8th to 13th March 2010. The full schedule is on their website www.fingalcoco.ie During ECO week compost bins will be sold at half price at Estuary Recycling Centre.

Events of interest to Donabate and Portrane residents include:

Tuesday 9th: St. Patrick's Boys National School students will be walking or cycling to school.

Saturday 13th:  Launch of allotments at Turvey Park, Donabate. GIY Ireland (Grow it yourself) will provide an exhibition and advice on the day.

Family Tree Planting Day from 10am at Turvey Park, All welcome!

Traffic delays and power outages : 27th/28th July

Traffic delays and power outages : Tues 27th, Wed 28th July 2010

 

Residents will have been aware that last week the ESB replaced several electricity poles in the village.  

Tomorrow and Wednesday, there will be more traffic delays due to the insulation of poles along the Portrane Rd.

From the village to the Community Centre will be affected Tuesday; Community Centre to Portrane the following day.

There will also be power outages and the ESB will notify households due to be effected.
