The planning process will take 12 weeks and presuming the planning process is successful, building will commence in early June 2010. We have also been reassured that this building will open in September 2011.

Chairperson of the Educational sub Committee David Moore said he was delighted with this event. Many people over several years had struggled to get to this day.
This is huge win for the community.

Meanwhile the permanent building of Educate Together Primary school is at the tendering stage and construction is due to commence later this year.

This is fantastic news for the people of Donabate / Portrane, particularly the pupils, teachers and staff of Educate Together School.

I want to commend the Principal, Board of Management and Parents Association of the school for all their hard work in securing this announcement. I, as your local T.D, am pleased to have been of assistance.

This year will not only see the construction of the new secondary school, Donabate Community College, but also the commencement of the long awaited permanent school for Educate Together.

The delivery of both of these projects were commitments that I gave to the people of Donabate / Portrane, before and since my election as your T.D. I am delighted to see this project going to construction this year
