St. Ita’s Hospital planning.

Leaflet March 14

Leaflet March 14

The Community Council  and local councillors Adrian Henchy and Paul Mulville will be holding a workshop on Sat. 14th March between 11.00 – 1.00 in the Community Centre. Please see the poster below for further details. Many other groups are also supportive of this workshop.

This new hospital planned by the H.S.E.  is a massive piece of infrastructure that will impact everybody on the peninsula during its proposed 3 year construction phase, the roads and footpaths through the village can barely cope at the moment with the volume of traffic passing through and we feel that an alternative route should have been looked at.

Various groups have made submissions to An Bord Pleanala and the H.S.E regarding alternative routes for traffic and so far we have been ignored, this workshop is our last chance to make submissions before 23rd. March.

Please come along and support this workshop on Sat. 14th. March 10.00- 1.00 in the Community Centre.

We intend to put leaflets through every door on the peninsula to remind people and are putting up posters in shops.

If you want to view documents regarding the planning application and our submission to it you can view all documents here.
