Headstrong (National Centre for Youth Mental Health) and Jigsaw North Fingal are providing a free day-long workshop on youth mental health. The workshop will be hosted in the Parish Hall, Donabate from 9.30am – 4pm on Tuesday December 2nd 2014. Lunch and a certificate of attendance will be provided on the day
The training is for adults and volunteers from any professional background who work with young people aged 12-25. The training will be a valuable opportunity for those who wish to understand and recognise the signs of mental health distress in young people whilst gaining insight into the factors that contribute to positive mental health Jigsaw’s aims are to normalise and reduce the stigma around the whole notion of mental health.
Understanding Youth Mental Health

This day long interactive workshop explores the issues impacting young people’s mental health and familiarize attendees with the warning signs of mental health difficulties.
